This is a layout design for an article about the classification of giraffe species. It focuses on the discovery that a single species has turned out to be 4 distinct species, and talks about the implications of this for conservation.
My layout design reflects this through the use of division, separation, and contrast. It uses strong imagery, a powerful dark orange and blue colour palette and lines cutting across images, which also helps to set a tone of danger or fear as a big focus of the article is about how endangered some species of giraffes are.
